Own the technical direction for the database platform on the U.S. Treasury T-Cloud program, a $1.3B departmentwide multi-cloud modernization effort spanning AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, OCI, and Google Cloud. Set the platform standards the program builds against, covering infrastructure as code, backup and restore, replication, failover, and validation pipelines. Led migration of hundreds of enterprise databases across IRS and Treasury tenants with zero data loss, and act as the senior technical voice through production incidents.

Own the design and operational standards for the target-state AWS RDS platform on a U.S. Navy afloat and ashore program. Support a hybrid replication architecture serving ship-based environments under denied and intermittent satellite connectivity, where conventional replication assumptions do not hold. Built the observability layer used for daily platform visibility, and define schema contracts with development teams across systems outside the data team.

Owned the pipelines moving data between operational systems and the analytics estate, and the datastores behind both. Built and operated the replication and ETL layer on Qlik Replicate, Informatica IICS, and SSIS, moving 5TB and larger datasets across Hybris, Oracle ERP, and third-party sources. Chose the replication approach per source, weighing log-based capture against scheduled batch on cost, latency, and load against production. Reduced unplanned downtime by 30 percent.

Owned the database platform for a national telecom provider, spanning on-premises and AWS, and the replication linking them. Designed the hybrid data path on RDS and Aurora including replication topology and cost optimization. Implemented Always On AG, clustering, and log shipping holding 99.9 percent uptime, and delivered 25 to 30 percent performance improvement through query tuning and index redesign.

Delivered architecture whiteboard sessions, workshops, and deep-dive health checks to enterprise Microsoft customers through JDA TSG. Advised on performance, upgrade paths, and cloud modernization strategy for large-scale organizations.

Managed the full lifecycle of SQL Server across production, test, and development for a healthcare organization. Designed and validated a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy with full, differential, and transaction log backup chains, built SSIS pipelines for clinical reporting, and held 24/7 on-call for production healthcare systems.

Held SQL Server reliability at scale through monitoring, automated validation, and disaster recovery design for high-traffic retail systems. Tuned performance using DMVs, execution plans, and statistics in one of the largest retail data environments in the world.

Supported automobile data systems and database operations for Insurance Auto Auctions. Managed SQL Server environments underpinning vehicle auction data, inventory tracking, and reporting infrastructure across distributed auction locations.

Supported healthcare database operations at corporate headquarters in Connecticut. Managed SQL Server environments underpinning pharmacy, healthcare, and retail data systems, with HIPAA-compliant data handling throughout.

Supported Epic electronic health records data infrastructure. Administered Cogito and Caboodle databases supporting clinical reporting, analytics, and operational workflows, maintaining HIPAA compliance across patient data environments.
